Mr. Madan Gopal Goel
Mr. Madan Gopal Goel, a visionary entrepreneur par excellence, stands as the illustrious founder of two pioneering enterprises, namely Shanti Steels and CRG Industries. His indomitable spirit and relentless pursuit of excellence have left an indelible mark on India’s industrial landscape.
Graduating with distinction with a B.A LLB from the prestigious Panjab University in 1978, Mr. Goel embarked on a journey characterized by innovation and unwavering dedication. His foray into the manufacturing sector commenced in 1982 with the production of Tractor Parts, laying the foundation for a career marked by groundbreaking achievements.
In 1983, spurred by his innate creativity and entrepreneurial acumen, Mr. Goel transitioned into the realm of manufacturing and supply, establishing pivotal partnerships with esteemed institutions such as the Indian Railways and DRDO Lab (SASE). It was during this epoch that he spearheaded a transformative initiative, contributing to the development of the Elastic Rail Clip (ERC) under the auspices of the Track Modernization Scheme in collaboration with RDSO.
Demonstrating unparalleled agility and ingenuity, Mr. Goel’s team swiftly secured capacity and capability assessment approval from RDSO, positioning themselves among a select group of trailblazers in India to achieve this feat. This watershed moment culminated in the genesis of Shanti Steels, an enterprise singularly dedicated to the precision manufacturing of Elastic Rail Clips, thus cementing Mr. Goel’s reputation as an industry luminary.
Concurrently, Mr. Goel’s visionary leadership extended beyond railway infrastructure, as evidenced by his pivotal role in spearheading projects such as the development of snow nets for SASE (DRDO Lab). As his passion for innovation continued to soar, he redirected his focus towards the enhancement of coach components for various production units of the Indian Railway, including ICF, MCF, CLW, DLW, BEML, and Metro.
In 2004, the dawn of a new era in industrial innovation heralded the inception of CRG Industries, a testament to Mr. Goel’s unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of possibility.
